BARC Recruitment 2023 has a selection process
specific to each post. Here's a summary of the selection process for each
position:
Technical Officer/C:
The selection is
based on the performance in the interview. If the number of applicants is high,
a Computer Based Screening Test may be conducted in the concerned discipline.
The final decision regarding the selection process will be made by the
recruiting center.
Scientific Assistant/B and Category-I
Stipendiary Trainee:
Candidates will
have to undergo a Computer Based Screening Test, which consists of 40
multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer carries 3 marks, while each
incorrect answer results in a deduction of 1 mark.
The syllabus for
the test will be based on the relevant Diploma/B.Sc. subjects. Qualifying
candidates will be shortlisted for an interview, and the final selection will
be based on interview performance.
Technician/B and Category-II Stipendiary
Trainee:
Stage 1 is a
Preliminary Test consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions in Mathematics,
Science, and General awareness. Each correct answer carries 3 marks, and 1 mark
is deducted for each incorrect answer.
Stage 2 is an
Advanced Test comprising 50 multiple-choice questions. A merit list is prepared
based on the scores obtained in Stage 2. Candidates with less than the
specified percentage are screened out.
Stage 3 is a
Skill Test, and the number of candidates shortlisted depends on the number of
vacancies.
