Dal-United (JDU) in Bihar has issued a three-line whip to its MLAs ahead of
the trust vote scheduled for February 12. This move aims to secure support and
prevent poaching attempts by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the principal
opposition party. Amidst speculations and rumors, both parties are making
strategic maneuvers to ensure their positions before the crucial floor test.
In
a bid to maintain unity within the ruling coalition, the JDU organized a
meeting of its MLAs at the residence of Bihar minister Shrawon Kumar in Patna.
Responding to rumors of 'missing' MLAs, JDU leaders affirmed that all members
were in contact and expressed confidence in winning the floor test under Nitish
Kumar's leadership.
Simultaneously, the RJD convened a meeting of its MLAs and allies ahead of the floor test, signaling preparations for a showdown. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav hinted at impending developments in the state, emphasizing the party's readiness to confront challenges.
