Bloodbath in Cleveland: Texas Gunman Kills 5, Including 8-Year-Old Child in A Shooting Rampage

An eight-year-old child was among the five people who were shot dead by a Texas gunman late Friday.

About The Shooting Incident

As reported by ABC News, the shooting incident, in which four of the victims were pronounced dead at the crime scene while the fifth died at the hospital, took place in a home in Cleaveland, Texas. The news portal stated that the victims had asked the suspect to stop shooting in his yard as they were trying to sleep, much to his displeasure who then killed them with an AR-15 style rifle.

All of the victims belong to Honduras. The news portal has also revealed that at around 11:31 p.m. local time the San Jacinto County Sheriff's office received information regarding harassment taking place in Cleveland through a call. As soon as they reached there, they found several victims had already been shot. They also found two female victims on top of two surviving children. 

It seems like the suspect, a drunk Texas gunman whose identity is yet to be disclosed, is on the run. The police have identified him as a 39-year-old armed Mexican man but his relationship with the victims is unknown as of now. 

Neither the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office nor the Cleveland Police Department has responded or commented on the shooting incident, but the Sheriff’s Office talked about the suspect stating, “The Mexican male subject, he has been known to shoot his 223 out in his front yard, which is evident by the shell casings that are laying in the front yard.”
