The Indian National Congress has planned to conduct the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' across all districts in the country on September 7, in honour of the yatra's first anniversary.
Last year, the Bharat Jodo Yatra commenced on September 7 from Kanyakumari under the guidance of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. It wrapped up its remarkable journey on January 30 in Srinagar.
In the previous month, Nana Patole, the Chief of Maharashtra Congress, revealed that Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to initiate a new padayatra (foot march) from Gujarat to Meghalaya.
Rahul Gandhi's yatra had a noticeable influence on the electoral outcomes in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh, where the Congress party witnessed a significant increase in both strike rate and vote share.
The Yatra covered a distance of 511 km in Karnataka over a period of 22 days, stretching from the Gundlupet constituency to the Raichur Rural constituency.
