The Gyanvapi mosque controversy deepens as the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) refutes the Archaeological Survey of India's (ASI) report suggesting evidence of a Hindu temple beneath the mosque. AIMPLB's Qasim Rasool Ilyas claims the ASI report lacks conclusive evidence, accusing the Hindu side of spreading anarchy and insecurity in society.

According to Vishnu Shankar Jain, the lawyer for Hindu plaintiffs, the ASI report allegedly proves that the Gyanvapi mosque was built after demolishing a Hindu temple in the 17th century. AIMPLB accuses Hindu communal organizations of misleading the public and insulting the court by releasing the ASI report prematurely.

Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee (AIMC), managing the Gyanvapi mosque, refrains from commenting on the ASI report until a thorough review is conducted. AIMC joint secretary SM Yasin expresses dissatisfaction, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive study before offering any remarks.

Akhlaque Ahmad, representing AIMC, discloses ongoing scrutiny of the 839-page ASI survey report, indicating a forthcoming meeting to discuss their dissatisfaction with concrete facts.

In contrast, Subhas Nandan Chaturvedi, representing Hindu plaintiffs, deems the ASI report as an authentic document, emphasizing its clarity based on scientific findings. The ASI, defended by government counsel Amit Kumar Srivastava, asserts the report's foundation on facts and figures, portraying it as a meticulous and unbiased assessment.
