She reminisced about splurging some of her anticipated winnings on a new appearance for the Squid Game gala, detailing a transformative journey inclusive of a stylish haircut, a Ralph Lauren outfit, and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Acknowledging a lingering sense of regret over these expenditures, Whelan justified, "I still have buyer’s remorse from that, but I think it’s well-deserved."
