Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announces free shuttle service from the Central Secretariat and Shivaji Stadium to 'Amrit Udyan' at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Udyan Utsav 2024, inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu, features a tulip-themed garden. Special roses like 'Double Delight' and a 225-year-old Sheesham tree adorn the 15-acre garden, open to the public from February 2 to March 31.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has unveiled plans to offer a complimentary shuttle service from the Central Secretariat and Shivaji Stadium metro stations to 'Amrit Udyan' at Rashtrapati Bhawan. This initiative aims to facilitate easy access for visitors to the garden during its public opening from February 2 to March 31, 2024, excluding maintenance Mondays.

In a social media post on X, DMRC encouraged exploration of '#AmritUdyan' and announced the availability of free shuttle services from Gate No. 4 of Central Secretariat Metro Station. The move is expected to attract tourists and gardening enthusiasts to the themed garden spectacle.

'Udyan Utsav 2024' commenced with the inauguration by President Droupadi Murmu at Amrit Udyan on Thursday. Notably, this year's edition features a theme garden showcasing a mesmerizing array of tulips, offering visitors a unique and vibrant experience.

Apart from the tulip display, visitors can also marvel at special rose varieties like 'Double Delight,' 'Sentimental,' and 'Krishna.' Among the highlights is a 225-year-old Sheesham tree, adding to the garden's natural beauty. Additionally, an exclusive 'Amrit Udyan' signature-style logo has been introduced, serving both as a distinctive feature and a designated selfie point.

Amrit Udyan, located within the premises of the President of India's official residence, boasts a captivating blend of Mughal and British landscaping styles. Known for its myriad flower varieties, Amrit Udyan is open to the public annually during the months of February and March.
