Tesla and SpaceX magnate, Elon Musk, teased the possibility of launching Xmail, stirring speculation amidst rumors of Gmail's demise. Responding to inquiries on X, Musk hinted at an upcoming email service, intensifying industry interest. Nate McGrady, part of X's Engineering and Security team, sought details on Xmail's release.

Musk's cryptic response, "Coming," ignited excitement, coinciding with circulating rumors suggesting Google's intention to phase out Gmail. A manipulated image circulated on social media, allegedly depicting Google's plan to sunset Gmail, fanning the flames of uncertainty.

Concerned netizens expressed dismay, with some expressing intent to transition to Xmail.
