Female Doctor Molested and Attacked by a Man in MP’s Ujjain

A female doctor, Zareen, was allegedly molested and physically assaulted by a man named Hitesh Badwaya in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain on Friday. 

The incident took place in Kharakua when Zareen was passing through the area on her scooty. 

Hitesh forcibly stopped her two-wheeler and inappropriately grabbed her hand when she resisted. The situation escalated when Zareen sought help from her acquaintance, Taufeeq Khan, who happened to be passing by.

Taufeeq bravely intervened and tried to stop Hitesh, but the accused wasn't alone. He called his group members, and together, they attacked Taufeeq before fleeing the scene. The doctor's plea for help turned into a nightmare for both her and Taufeeq.

Disturbed by the heinous incident, the local community, led by Congress leaders Noori Khan and Ravi Bhadauria, gathered at the police station demanding immediate and strict action against the accused. The outraged protesters also sought the demolition of Hitesh Badwaya's residence.

The locals' anger was palpable, and they were unwilling to disperse until justice was served. However, Senior Police Officer Sachin Sharma assured the protesters that swift action would be taken against Hitesh and his group. Convinced by SP Sharma's promise, the crowd eventually dispersed.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the city, raising concerns about the safety of women in public spaces. Residents expressed outrage and called for stronger measures to prevent such crimes in the future.
