Former
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently underwent a triumphant
hip replacement surgery following a fall at his residence. The surgery,
performed by a team of seasoned orthopedic surgeons at a renowned private
hospital in Hyderabad, was deemed successful by the medical bulletin released
on Friday.
KCR's
surgery, a left Total Hip Replacement, was necessitated due to a fracture
resulting from the fall. The hospital, Yashoda Hospitals, outlined a recovery
timeline of 6-8 weeks for the former CM. According to the bulletin, Rao
tolerated the surgery well and maintained stable hemodynamics throughout the
procedure.
Post-surgery, KCR was moved to a recovery room, where he was under observation and receiving necessary post-operative care. This care included intravenous fluids, preventive antibiotics, and appropriate pain relief medication.

following the fall incident.
The
former CM's move to Yashoda Hospitals followed his fall at his Erravelli
residence. Subsequent medical evaluations, including CT scans, revealed a left
hip fracture (Intracapsular Neck of Femur fracture).
Wishing KCR a speedy recovery, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his regards. Additionally, the newly appointed Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, ensured top-tier medical attention for his predecessor. Health Secretary S A M Rizvi, acting on CM Reddy's directives, visited the hospital to inquire about KCR’s health.
