Top 10 World’s Richest Billionaires, Mukesh Ambani;-
According to the 2023 Hurun Global Rich list, Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani has Been named the wealthiest Indian with an estimated wealth of $82 billion.
Mukesh Ambani is the only Indian to make it into the top 10 richest billionaires in the world, ranking ninth on the M3M Hurun Global Rich List. Additionally, with a net loss of $28 billion, Gautam Adani fell to second place.
In 2022–23, Adani lost 3,000 crore weekly and came to the position of third-richest energy entrepreneur in the world. Following a report by American short-seller Hindenburg in January, Gautam Adani saw more than 60% decline in his wealth from his peak. However, before the report was published, he was the world's second richest person.
Only 3,112 billionaires were recognized on the Hurun World Rich List for 2023, down from 3,384 the previous year. As compared to last year, there were 8% less billionaires and their combined wealth was down by 10%. However, the sector that produced the most billionaires in India was the healthcare industry, followed by consumer goods and chemicals.
Despite this fact, India is at the top for wealth depletion. According to the 2023 M3M Hurun Global Rich List, India had 41 billionaires who lost more than $1 billion annually, compared to 178 and 123 billionaires who lost More than $1 billion in China and the United States, respectively.
