Google has expanded its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro lineup by introducing a vibrant Mint color option. This new addition aligns with Google's pastel aesthetic, a signature feature in previous Pixel phone generations. The Mint hue provides users with a more playful and distinctive choice compared to the existing color palette.
The Pixel 8 series already boasts a diverse array of color choices, including the elegant Bay Blue, sleek Obsidian, and classic Porcelain for the Pixel 8 Pro. The standard Pixel 8 models offer Obsidian, charming Hazel, and chic Rose color options. Now, with the introduction of Mint, users have another option to express their style preferences.

This
Mint color is exclusive to the 128GB models of both Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
While it offers a refreshing alternative for those seeking a lighter shade,
potential buyers must consider the compromise in storage capacity. The
aesthetic focus remains prominent in Google's strategy, mirroring the approach
taken by industry giant Apple.
Despite
the exciting addition of Mint, Google maintains the specifications and features
of the Pixel 8 series, emphasizing consistency over radical changes. The
company aims to appeal to users who prioritize aesthetic choices without
sacrificing the technological capabilities of their devices.
Regarding the availability and pricing of the Mint-colored Pixel phones in India, uncertainties linger. The Google India store hints at marketing efforts for the Mint option in Pixel 8, while the situation for Pixel 8 Pro remains unclear. In India, Pixel phones are sold through Flipkart, and it is yet to be confirmed when the Mint-colored models will be listed. If available, the Mint variant of the Pixel 8 is expected to be priced similarly to other color options, with an estimated cost of Rs 75,999.
