The Indian government calls for a 'Special Parliament Session' from September 18-22, following a contentious Monsoon session, for vital discussions.

This forthcoming session, officially recognized as the 13th Session of the 17th Lok Sabha and the 261st Session of the Rajya Sabha, is a pivotal event in India's political calendar. It comes on the heels of the Monsoon session, which was held from July 20th to August 11th and was marked by intense confrontations between the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition coalition known as I.N.D.I.A (Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance).

The primary point of contention during the Monsoon session revolved around the issue of ethnic violence in Manipur, sparking heated debates and disagreements.

The Indian government has declared a 'Special Session' of Parliament set to take place from September 18th to 22nd, comprising five crucial sittings.

Notably, I.N.D.I.A introduced a no-confidence motion against the Modi government, a motion that was soundly defeated on the last day of the session. The opposition chose to stage a walkout from the Lok Sabha during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address.

The upcoming "Special Session" of Parliament is anticipated to address a range of critical topics and policies, providing a platform for diverse perspectives and constructive dialogue on key matters of national importance.

In light of the intense debates and political maneuvers that unfolded in the previous session, the nation will be closely watching as the government and the opposition converge once again, hoping for fruitful discussions that serve the interests of the Indian
people.
