India helps with onions supply to ally UAE and neighbour Sri Lanka and, After Maldives

The fact that India intends to export thousands of metric tons of onions to Sri Lanka demonstrates the sincerity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "neighborhood first" policy. The Maldives will continue to import essential goods from India even if that country were to impose export prohibitions or limits in the future as a result of an unanticipated production shortfall.

None of the participating nations on the tour have awarded any grants to the coastal state on the Indian Ocean. Muizzu, the head of the Maldivian Salafi, visited Turkey on his first international trip after taking office as president of the Maldives on November 17, 2023. Muizzu hasn't gone to India despite using an anti-Indian campaign to gain power. Muizzu's lack of vision has caused Saudi Arabia to lose interest in the Maldives.
