Russian President Vladimir Putin lauded India's unwavering commitment to an independent foreign policy, expressing his admiration during a speech on 'Russian Student Day' in the Kaliningrad Region. Commending India's autonomy, Putin highlighted the nation's right to make decisions independently, particularly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a move away from external influences.

During his address, Putin cautioned against any attempts to manipulate India's political landscape, asserting that such endeavors would be futile due to the nation's robust, nationally-oriented leadership.
