Commending India's autonomy, Putin highlighted the nation's right to make decisions independently, particularly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a move away from external influences.

During his address, Putin cautioned against any attempts to manipulate India's political landscape, asserting that such endeavors would be futile due to the nation's robust, nationally-oriented leadership. Emphasizing India's massive population of 1.5 billion, the Russian President underscored the significance of respecting the country's ability to chart its own course.
