A few days ago, the 69th National Film Awards for 2023 were revealed. Surprisingly, despite receiving praise from critics, Suriya's film "Jai Bhim" went unrecognized, which left a sour taste for some South Indian actors. Nani and Prakash Raj openly expressed their dissatisfaction with this decision. Joining in, Rana Daggubati weighed in on the matter, emphasizing that everyone has the right to their own point of view.
During a recent media interview, Rana Daggubati faced questions regarding potential controversy surrounding Allu Arjun's National Award win and the non-recognition of "Jai Bhim." In response, the actor stated, "Everyone has their own perspective. One person may prefer one film, while another may prefer something else. This applies to artists as well. It's not about individuals. Many anticipated that 'Jai Bhim' would receive recognition, but it didn't. It's not a matter of why someone else won. There's no controversy."
Nani expressed his disappointment about "Jai Bhim" not winning a National Award through an Instagram story. His message simply featured the hashtag "#JaiBhim" accompanied by a heartbroken red emoji.
