In a remarkable development in the technology sector, Kaynes Technology India Ltd witnessed a remarkable surge of nearly 16%, hitting a new record high following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government. In a remarkable development in the technology sector, Kaynes Technology India Ltd witnessed a remarkable surge of nearly 16%, hitting a new record high following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government. This strategic partnership aims to establish a state-of-the-art facility for outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing (OSAT) in the vibrant city of Hyderabad.

The stock of Kaynes Technology opened with a noticeable uptick and continued its rally, eventually reaching an all-time high of Rs 2,954.20 on the BSE during the morning trading session. Over the past year, the stock has demonstrated exceptional growth, more than tripling in value, marking it as a noteworthy player in the market.

This significant development involves Kaynes Technology, a homegrown leader in electronics contract manufacturing services, and the Telangana government jointly embarking on the journey of establishing a semiconductor OSAT and compound semiconductor facility in the state. The planned facility will be strategically located in Kongara Kalan, adjacent to the forthcoming electronics manufacturing facility of Foxconn in south Hyderabad.

The estimated investment for this ambitious project is approximately Rs 2,800 crore, with expectations of generating job opportunities for around 2,000 individuals, according to the company's official statement. Kaynes Technology, with a rich history spanning over three decades, is diversifying its portfolio by venturing into OSAT/ATMP services through its subsidiary, Kaynes Semicon.

Over the initial three years, Kaynes Semicon will specialize in providing a wide range of semiconductor packages, including QFN, SOT, TO, BGA, and FC BGA, catering to the global demand for power devices. In addition to this, Kaynes Semicon has established a collaborative partnership with IIT Bombay to create a dedicated research and development center focusing on package research, which is set to enhance the company's technological prowess.

Kaynes Technology is known for its comprehensive offerings in integrated electronics manufacturing, delivering end-to-end solutions infused with IoT capabilities.
