Kerala-born Norwegian businessman Rinson Jose, the owner of Norta Global, has been accused of involvement in the sale of pagers used in Lebanon blasts. The Hungarian news site Telex reported that Norta Global, a Sofia-based company, was linked to the devices that detonated in Lebanon, killing 12 people and injuring many more. Jose has so far declined to comment on the allegations.

Norta Global has since deleted its website, and its registered office could not be located. While Bulgarian authorities have denied any direct involvement of the company in terror-related activities, Norwegian intelligence agencies and Oslo police are still investigating the matter. Lebanese officials claim the blasts targeted Hezbollah operatives, leading to speculation about international involvement.

The pagers in question were made by Gold Apollo, a Taiwanese company that licensed the product to Hungary-based BAC Consulting, which was also found to have no operating office. Despite Jose's family in Kerala being contacted, they have been unable to reach him for three days.
