The news of Sulochana's demise was confirmed by her daughter, Kanchan Ghanekar, who shared with Indianexpress.com, "She had been dealing with age-related health issues and facing breathing difficulties. She peacefully passed away this evening at 6 pm." As per a family statement, the final viewing, known as 'antim darshan,' will be held at her residence in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. Her cremation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday at 5:30 pm at the Shivaji Park crematorium.
Sulochana's illustrious career includes notable contributions to films such as "Kora Kagaz," "Muqaddar Ka Sikandar" (where she portrayed Vinod Khanna's mother), "Himmatwala," and "Andar Baahar" (where she portrayed Jackie Shroff's mother), among others.
