Mandira Bedi has graciously offered a glimpse into the heartfelt havan ceremony she conducted on Tuesday, honoring the birth anniversary of her departed spouse and accomplished producer, Raj Kaushal.

Among the images shared, a pair of them delicately captured a close-up view of Raj's portrait, a focal point for the rituals, accompanied by a gently flickering diya. In another poignant snapshot, Mandira is seen engaging in the offerings at the havan kund, her children sitting closely by her side. Further visual insight showcases her guiding the little ones in paying their heartfelt respects to the havan kund, solidifying the tender moments captured.

The poignant visuals found their place within Mandira's Instagram Stories, accompanied by her heartfelt words, "August 15th. Your day, Raji. A celebration in your honor as we commemorate the day you graced this world."

A talented filmmaker, Raj helmed multiple cinematic ventures such as "Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi" and "Shaadi Ke Laddoo." Tragically, he succumbed to a heart attack on June 30, 2021.

Raj's journey intertwined with Mandira's as they united in matrimony back in 1999. Their marital bliss bore fruit with the birth of their firstborn, son Vir, in 2011. The tapestry of their family deepened further in 2020 when they joyfully embraced their second child, the four-year-old daughter named Tara, through adoption.

Observing his inaugural birth anniversary posthumously, Mandira tenderly posted an Instagram snapshot of their cherished moments together, accompanied by her poignant words. "August 15th: A perennial celebration, uniting Independence Day and Raj's Birthday. Happy Birthday Raji... Amidst the ache of your absence, we long for your watchful gaze and unwavering support, as you unfailingly provided," she wrote, expressing her sentiment. The unfillable void remains a testament to our longing (heartbreak emoji), and we hold on to the hope that you find solace in a better realm, embraced by tranquility and boundless affection (folded hands)."
