In a heartfelt message shared on social media, PM Modi
affirmed his government's unwavering commitment to the welfare and swift
development of Uttarakhand, fondly known as "Devbhoomi." He expressed
his anticipation to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several
projects in Pithoragarh, emphasizing the paramount role of the community. Modi
eagerly looked forward to engaging with the residents of Gunji village and
experiencing the profound spirituality of Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Dham during
his tour.
Cultural troupes hailing from Uttarakhand's Kumaon region will extend a warm welcome to the Prime Minister as he embarks on a journey along a meticulously renovated 6-km road adorned with captivating murals and paintings. This scenic route leads from the Naini Saini airport to the venue of a grand public meeting in Pithoragarh.

The itinerary for the visit includes a momentous darshan
(sacred viewing) of Adi Kailash Peak, an iconic abode of Lord Shiva, nestled in
Jolingkong. Subsequently, Modi will visit Gunji village, engaging with local
residents and security personnel, fostering a sense of connection.
The spiritual dimension of the visit will be actualized
through the Prime Minister's prayers at the revered Jageshwar Dham, a temple
dedicated to Lord Shiva. Here, amid the tranquil and sacred ambiance, Modi will
gather his thoughts before addressing the public meeting in Pithoragarh,
