During his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Gwalior, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government policies. He raised questions on several aspects of the PM's leadership, including the increasing unemployment and rising inflation in the country.

Rahul Gandhi, during his visit, highlighted the issue of growing unemployment in India, stating that there is double the unemployment rate in India compared to Pakistan. He further criticized the policies of the Modi government, accusing them of neglecting the common people's welfare.

In a post on social media, Rahul Gandhi wrote, "While showing dreams of air travel to people who wear slippers, Narendra Modi's 'poor people's ride' is also being gradually removed from the railways. With annual rent increases of 10%, loot in the name of dynamic fares, increasing cancellation charges, and expensive platform tickets, people are being seduced by a 'elite train' image that even the poor cannot afford to board."

He further stated, "In the last three years, the government has collected ₹3,700 crore by withdrawing concessions from senior citizens. Common man's trains are kept standing aside for the trains chosen for publicity. The poor and middle-class travelers have been pushed out of the railway's priority."

Rahul Gandhi also criticized the reduction in the number of general compartments to increase the number of AC compartments, emphasizing that not only laborers and farmers but also students and professionals travel in general compartments. He pointed out that the construction of AC compartments has been tripled compared to regular compartments. The tradition of presenting the railway budget separately was aimed at concealing these 'achievements'. The policies of the railway, which are made by keeping only the rich in mind, betray 80% of India's population who depend on railways. Rahul Gandhi expressed his lack of confidence in Modi's trust, calling it a 'betrayal of trust'.
