NIA Court Issues Proclamation Orders Against Two Active Militants in J&K's Kulgam

Kashmir Police Friday said that the two active terrorists got Proclamation orders issued against them under Section 82 of CrPC by the NIA Special Court Kulgam, which operates under the National Investigation Agency Act.
The court had already issued open-ended Non-Bailable Warrants (NBW) against them before the NIA Special Court Kulgam issued the Proclamation orders. In response to a request from the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), the NIA Special Court Kulgam issued Proclamation orders against these terrorists under Section 82 of CrPC.
Yawar Bashir Dar and Irfan Yaqoob Lone, who have been identified as terrorists involved in the case, face charges under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Qaimoh police station. While Irfan Yaqoob Lone hails from Hawoora, Yawar Bashir Dar, belongs to Redwani Balla. Both of them have been identified as active terrorists in the case.
The police notified that proclamation orders have been made public in prominent locations within Yawar Bashir Dar and Irfan Yaqoob Lone's native villages today. Copies of the Proclamations were also affixed to spots that are clearly visible in their residential houses and other prominent areas within their villages.
The police further informed that the execution of the proclamation orders issued against the terrorists took place in the native villages of Yawar Bashir Dar and Irfan Yaqoob Lone in Kulgam, in the presence of teams from SIU Kashmir, local police, and a magistrate.
Throughout the proceedings, strict adherence to proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) was ensured for legal compliance.
