In a groundbreaking announcement, Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed plans to transform the commute between Delhi and Jaipur, slashing travel time to a mere two hours. This ambitious initiative involves the development of electric cable highways, ushering in a new era of efficient and eco-friendly transportation.

Gadkari shared this exciting update during a rally in Jaipur, where he voiced his support for Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the BJP candidate from the Jhotwara Assembly constituency in Rajasthan. Emphasizing the innovation behind the project, Gadkari remarked, "Imagine sitting in business class and reaching Delhi in two hours, at a fare 30% less than a diesel bus."

The minister reminisced about similar skepticism faced when proposing a 45-minute journey from Delhi to Meerut, which is now a reality. He expressed joy in witnessing people from Meerut travel to Delhi just for ice cream and envisioned cultural exchanges between Jaipur and Delhi, symbolized by enjoying each other's specialties like Delhi's ice cream and Jaipur's Kachori.

Gadkari reiterated the BJP's commitment to addressing fundamental issues beyond politics. He emphasized, "Our party is not a family-centric party. I started as a humble worker, pasting posters, and the party gave me opportunities. Our mission extends beyond political change; it aims to eradicate hunger, poverty, and unemployment in the country."

Continuing his active involvement in Rajasthan's political landscape, Gadkari conducted a roadshow for Diya Kumari in the Vidyadhar Nagar assembly constituency. Speaking to the crowd afterward, he expressed confidence in Diya Kumari's victory and asserted that the BJP would secure a majority in Rajasthan.
