In
a spirited move, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is gearing up for a grand "Shobha
Yatra" and community feast, termed 'Bhandara,' set to unfold across
Delhi on January 22. The city is abuzz with anticipation as this vibrant event
aligns with the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram's idol at the historic Ram
Temple in Ayodhya.
Delhi
Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj expressed excitement, highlighting that the AAP
government has declared a half-day holiday on January 22 to encourage
widespread participation. Various programs, including religious gatherings, are
scheduled at temples, enhancing the festive atmosphere. AAP leaders, along with
MLAs, are poised to actively engage in the 'Bhandara' feast and the colorful
'Shobha Yatra,' showcasing unity and cultural richness.
Simultaneously, the AAP administration is orchestrating a three-day Ramlila event at Pearey Lal Bhawan, adding another layer of cultural celebration that commenced on the preceding Saturday.

Meanwhile,
a heartening gesture emerged from the Muslim community, extending prayers for
the success of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony in Ayodhya. In a meeting held at
Delhi's Nizamuddin Basti, community members conveyed congratulations to the
devotees, emphasizing unity and brotherhood. Their prayers, focused on lasting
peace and harmony in the country, exemplify the spirit of communal amity.
Highlighting
the historical and spiritual significance of Ayodhya, the consecration ceremony
on January 22 will witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi's presence. The Sri Ram
Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has announced the enthroning of Ram Lalla at
the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple. Dr. Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a Vedic priest
from Varanasi, is entrusted with performing the pivotal rituals during the
ceremony.
In
essence, this cross-cultural convergence and celebration in Delhi and Ayodhya
epitomize the country's cultural diversity, fostering unity and communal
harmony.
