OnePlus enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting treat as the OnePlus 12 is on the horizon. Expected to debut in December 2023 or January 2024, the exact launch date remains a closely guarded secret.

The latest reports have confirmed that OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, promising top-tier performance. Additionally, it will sport a BOE X1 OLED LTPO display with an impressive 2K resolution.

OnePlus is stepping up its camera game with the introduction of a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens for photography, a substantial upgrade from its previous model. The President of OnePlus China, Li Jievia, personally confirmed this development on Weibo.

This periscope lens employs the OmniVision OV64B sensor, enabling a 3x optical zoom. OnePlus also shared camera samples on Weibo, demonstrating the lens's capabilities to capture quality images, especially in low-light conditions.

The OnePlus 12 will ship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and feature a Sony LYTIA LYT808 sensor for its primary shooter. The device boasts an LTPO OLED display with a 2K resolution and 2,600 nits peak brightness.

The global launch of the OnePlus 12 is expected to follow its release in China, possibly in January 2024. The device will run on Android 14 with the OxygenOS 14 overlay. It offers a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary shooter and a 32-megapixel front camera.

Battery details are equally impressive, with OnePlus 12 featuring an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 5,400mAh battery. Notably, it supports 100W wired charging, and for added convenience, it offers 50W wireless charging.
