PM Modi discusses women’s problems and infrastructure in 100 days review meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the first 100 days of the NDA government, highlighting women's safety, youth empowerment, and infrastructure projects worth ₹2.30 lakh crore. He urged ministers to ensure timely policy execution and raise public awareness, focusing on social welfare and India’s development goals for 2047.
In a five-hour council of ministers’ meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on issues of women’s security, employment of youths, and infrastructure development. The meeting was held on the occasion of completion of 100 days of the BJP-led NDA government’s third term and discussed the accomplishments and the future course of action. Accepting the anger of the public after a rape and murder case in Kolkata, Modi stressed on the need to be more cautious about women safety and social causes for women.
The Prime Minister encouraged his ministers to sell government policies especially those that would favor women, youths, farmers and the poor. He underlined the importance of the timely implementation of the measures and the raising of the public awareness of the administration’s activities.

Continued emphasis was placed on infrastructure development, Modi announced the clearance of projects over ₹2. 30 lakh crore for new railway lines, ports, airports and smart cities. These efforts are in line with the government’s vision of making India a developed country by the year 2047 under the mission ‘Viksit Bharat’.
Government projects in the social sector were also under consideration, where briefs were made on the status of major projects. The meeting concluded with a strong resolve to work harder in order to protect the lives of citizens especially women through good governance and sound policies.
