Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 26 took a pledge to make India a developed nation in his third term and also assure people of NDA coming back to power.
He said this during the inauguration of the refurbished ITPO complex at Pragati Maidan, Delhi. PM Modi expressed unwavering confidence in achieving this goal, emphasising it as "Modi's guarantee."
In addition to the economic promise, PM Modi pledged to expedite India's development journey after 2024, signalling his determination to steer the country towards progress and prosperity.
Taking the opportunity to address his critics, PM Modi mocked the tendency of some individuals to hinder positive initiatives. He cited the successful completion of 'Kartavya Path' as an example of how detractors initially opposed it but later acknowledged its merit.
As part of the event, PM Modi also performed a religious ceremony at the newly revamped India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) complex, which is now set to host the prestigious G20 Leaders' Summit in the coming months.
The International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), developed at a cost of around Rs 2,700 crore, boasts world-class facilities, including a convention centre, exhibition halls, and amphitheatres. Designed to be India's largest Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) destination, the IECC is envisioned to be one of the top exhibition and convention complexes worldwide, aligning with PM Modi's vision of enhancing India's infrastructure for hosting international events.
