Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid an emotional tribute to Ratan Tata, marking a month since the industrialist’s passing. Modi emphasized the profound impact Tata had across generations, highlighting his contributions to Indian industry, philanthropy, and social causes. Tata’s absence, Modi said, is “deeply felt across every segment of society.”

Modi described Tata as an inspiration to young entrepreneurs, symbolizing how success can coexist with compassion and humility. Under Tata’s leadership, the Tata Group gained global respect for integrity and excellence. Modi praised Tata’s pivotal role in India’s startup ecosystem, stating that his investments empowered a generation of innovators, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship in India.

Tata’s compassion extended beyond humans; his love for animals and support for animal welfare were also noted by Modi.
