Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt Eid al-Adha greetings to the leaders and citizens of Kuwait and Bangladesh, expressing his hope for strengthened ties between the nations on this auspicious occasion.

In a gesture of goodwill, PM Modi conveyed his warm wishes to the leadership of Kuwait and expressed confidence that the sacred festival would bring the people of India and Kuwait even closer.

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait utilized Twitter to announce that Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his warm wishes to the esteemed leaders, namely the Amir, the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, and the people of the State of Kuwait, on the joyous occasion of Eid-Al-Adha.

Similarly, the High Commission of India in Bangladesh also announced PM Modi's greetings to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. The Prime Minister's message emphasized his belief that this holy festival would further enhance the bond between the people of India and Bangladesh.

The exchange of warm greetings comes on the heels of recent positive developments between India and Bangladesh. Earlier this month, during the 53rd Border Coordination Conference held in Delhi, the border guarding forces of both nations agreed upon five developmental projects aimed at improving the lives of the communities residing along the India-Bangladesh border.

The projects, as stated in a BSF statement, are expected to have a significant positive impact on the border population.

Major General A K M Nazmul Hasan, Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (DG BGB), led the Bangladesh delegation to India for the conference, which took place from June 11 to 14 at the BSF Chhawla Camp in New Delhi. The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both countries to address border-related issues and promote cooperation in various sectors.
