PM Modi Set to Initiate Projects Valued at Rs 17,000 Crore in Rajasthan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate projects worth Rs 17,000 crore in Rajasthan, covering vital sectors like roads, railways, and renewable energy. Additionally, he'll lay the foundation stone for a 300 MW solar power plant by NLC India, reinforcing the nation's renewable energy pursuits.

Minister Narendra Modi is poised to revolutionize Rajasthan's
infrastructure, launching a slew of projects worth Rs 17,000 crore, spanning
key sectors such as transportation, energy, and water resources. Through a
virtual event scheduled for Friday, PM Modi will kickstart these endeavors,
symbolizing a significant stride towards progress and development.
In
a bid to enhance connectivity and facilitate smoother transportation, the Prime
Minister will inaugurate various national highway projects totaling over Rs
5,000 crore in Rajasthan. Notably, these projects include three segments of the
eight-lane Delhi-Mumbai Greenfield Alignment (NE-4), designed to bolster
regional connectivity and expedite travel.
Furthermore, emphasis has been placed on environmental sustainability and wildlife conservation in these projects, evident in the provision of animal underpasses and overpasses, alongside noise barriers to mitigate disruptions to wildlife habitats.

PM
Modi's agenda extends beyond highways, as he is set to lay the foundation stone
for eight railway projects in Rajasthan, collectively valued at approximately
Rs 2,300 crore. Additionally, he will initiate projects under the Jal Jeevan
Mission, aimed at fortifying Rajasthan's water infrastructure to ensure access
to clean drinking water.
This
concerted effort underscores PM Modi's commitment to reshaping Rajasthan's
infrastructure landscape and fostering avenues for economic growth and
prosperity. The event, slated to unfold across 200 locations throughout Rajasthan,
with a focal event in Jaipur, symbolizes a collective step towards a more
developed and resilient Rajasthan.
In parallel, PM Modi will reinforce India's renewable energy ambitions by virtually inaugurating a 300 MW solar power plant by NLC India in Barsingsar, Rajasthan. This initiative aligns with the nation's pursuit of renewable energy sources and its commitment to realizing a sustainable, low-carbon future.
