The box office performance of Prabhas' latest film "Salaar Part One: Ceasefire," directed by Prashant Neel, took a hit on its second Friday, managing to collect just Rs 10 crore net. Despite an impressive start, the film saw a notable drop in collections after entering the Rs 300 crore club on Day 7. With a cumulative collection of Rs 318 crore since its release on December 22, Salaar faces a challenge in maintaining its momentum.

Prabhas,
known for his iconic roles, experiences contrasting fortunes with "Salaar Part One: Ceasefire." The film helmed by director Prashant Neel garners
praise globally but faces an unexpected turn at the Indian box office. Despite
an initial surge, its journey encounters turbulence.
The
movie's triumphant entry into the Rs 300 crore league on Day 7 raised
expectations of surpassing another milestone swiftly. Analysts anticipated a
seamless march into the next Rs 100 crore threshold during its second weekend.
However, Salaar's performance on its second Friday leaves stakeholders disheartened,
amassing only Rs 10 crore net.
Since its release, Salaar has displayed a fluctuating graph. From an impressive Day 1 collection of Rs 90.70 crore, comprising contributions from Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi markets, the film maintained momentum. However, subsequent days witnessed a declining trajectory.

Day
2 and 3 saw collections of Rs 56.35 crore and Rs 62.05 crore, respectively,
depicting a gradual descent. The downward trend persisted, with Days 4 to 7
marking decreasing figures, culminating in a disappointing Rs 10 crore on Day
8.
Despite
featuring stars like Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapati Babu
alongside Prabhas, the movie struggles to sustain its initial fervor. Prashant
Neel's directorial brilliance fails to maintain the film's box office appeal
beyond its triumphant entry into the elite league.
The
fluctuating collections, reaching a cumulative Rs 318 crore, highlight Salaar's
roller-coaster ride, underscoring the volatility within the movie industry,
where success is often a fleeting phenomenon.
