In a significant address on Friday, President Joe Biden condemned the actions of the militant group Hamas in the midst of the Israel-Palestine conflict, likening them to the notorious terrorist organization al-Qaeda. Biden expressed deep concern over the loss of innocent lives, which has surpassed 1,000, including at least 27 Americans, due to the ongoing hostilities in the region.

"These men make al-Qaeda appear to be a pristine organization. President Biden reaffirmed the United States' unshakable support for Israel by saying, "They're pure evil." He underscored that despite the unrest, the United States is standing solidly behind its Middle Eastern ally.

Just three days earlier, the President had already taken a decisive stance, announcing that the United States would be providing military assistance to Israel in the face of Hamas' attacks. This support underscored America's commitment to ensuring Israel's safety and security.

President Biden reiterated the dedication of the United States to aid Israel during the ongoing crisis, highlighting the active engagement of Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin with Israeli officials. This involvement aims to equip Israel with the essential resources necessary for self-defense.

Moreover, President Biden emphasized the urgency of addressing the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, emphasizing that innocent civilians should not suffer due to the ongoing conflict.

With a focus on Americans affected by the turmoil, President Biden vowed, "I assured them my personal commitment to do everything possible to return every missing American to their families." The Biden administration has been working relentlessly, in close cooperation with Israel and regional partners, to secure the release of Americans held by Hamas.

White House Principal Deputy Secretary Olivia Dalton reiterated the United States' robust support for Israel during a press briefing. She highlighted the significant collaboration and engagement with Egypt and Israel to create safe passages for civilians and to deliver much-needed humanitarian assistance in Gaza.

Regarding Hamas' tactics, President Biden described the group's willingness to use tunnels under residential buildings to occupy hospitals, mosques, and schools for their operations, underscoring their disregard for human life and civilians. He emphasized the barbaric and brutal nature of this terrorist organization, calling for continued international condemnation.

In short, President Biden's condemnation of Hamas and his pledge to support Israel in the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict reflects the United States' commitment to peace and security in the region. The crisis remains a grave concern, with the U.S. emphasizing the need for urgent action to address the humanitarian plight while working diligently to ensure the safe return of missing Americans.
