The National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) Digital House initiative was officially launched by President Droupadi Murmu at the Gujarat legislative assembly in Gandhinagar, India. This is a huge step forward in using technology to make the legislative process more efficient.

NeVA Digital House is an initiative to improve the effectiveness and openness of legislative processes via the use of cutting-edge technology. It fits nicely with the national strategy of encouraging e-governance and decreasing bureaucratic red tape in government operations.

With this introduction, the Gujarat legislative assembly becomes the latest in a string of Indian legislatures to embrace the NeVA platform in an effort to streamline their own internal procedures. NeVA offers a whole digital environment for the many facets of legislative work, such as agenda management, voting, and record-keeping.
