This jest comes in the wake of a significant Income Tax raid in Odisha, where approximately Rs 350 crore and 3 kg of gold ornaments were unearthed from the residence of MP Dheeraj Sahu.

The Income Tax officials, accompanied by CISF personnel, concluded their intensive week-long search in Balangir. Notably, the raids extended across 30-34 premises scattered across Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, showcasing the expansive scope of the operation. It is worth highlighting that the scrutiny is ongoing in Ranchi, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.

The Income Tax department's latest operation has set a historic record, marking the highest-ever cash seizure in the country. The culmination of the five-day counting process revealed an astounding amount of Rs 351 crore. Additionally, the department seized a considerable quantity of gold jewelry, totaling around 3 kg.
