In a recent development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi humorously alluded to the Congress Party's financial maneuvers, drawing parallels with the popular Spanish series 'Money Heist.' This jest comes in the wake of a significant Income Tax raid in Odisha, where approximately Rs 350 crore and 3 kg of gold ornaments were unearthed from the residence of MP Dheeraj Sahu.

The Income Tax officials, accompanied by CISF personnel, concluded their intensive week-long search in Balangir. Notably, the raids extended across 30-34 premises scattered across Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, showcasing the expansive scope of the operation. It is worth highlighting that the scrutiny is ongoing in Ranchi, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.

The Income Tax department's latest operation has set a historic record, marking the highest-ever cash seizure in the country. The culmination of the five-day counting process revealed an astounding amount of Rs 351 crore. Additionally, the department seized a considerable quantity of gold jewelry, totaling around 3 kg. This accomplishment solidifies the operation's significance, making it the most substantial cash seizure by any agency in a single operation in the nation's history.

Prime Minister Modi took the opportunity to share a satirical touch, posting a modified video inspired by 'Money Heist,' created by the Bharatiya Janata Party. His caption humorously questioned the need for fictional heist dramas when the Congress Party's financial exploits have been legendary for seven decades and counting.

This revelation not only sheds light on the intricate financial web of the Congress Party but also underscores the government's commitment to curbing financial irregularities. As the investigations unfold, the repercussions of this operation are anticipated to reverberate in political circles, further shaping the narrative around financial transparency and accountability.
