In a hard-hitting video address released on Tuesday, the former Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, launched a bitter attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, accusing them of politics to create hatred and frustration, which has a bad effect on the country.

Therefore, the current position of the present government is in question.  It has to be exposed as youth without jobs, women with atrocities, Dalits, tribals, backward classes, and minorities with huge discrimination. " She pinpointed the current climate as the consequences of "PM Modi's and BJP's intentions".

The video message sent by the Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson is in the midst of the ongoing Lok Sabha election, the third phase of which will be held in 93 constituencies across 11 states and union territory.

Mrs.  Gandhi said that the Congress party has "always fought for the growth of everyone, the poor and the downtrodden basis of justice and to bring strength to the country.  " She asked the voters to get behind the Congress and the INDIA alliance to safeguard the Constitution and democracy.

Showcasing the manifesto of the opposition party's 'Nyay Patra,' which assures of lifting the poor, giving the youth and women a chance to grow, helping farmers and laborers, and strengthening the weaker strata of society. "Dear friends, I am knocking at your door one more time," Mrs.  Gandhi said while addressing the voters.

Her sharp criticism of the Modi rule came just after her son and the former president of the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi had leveled a similar charge against the ruling BJP accusing the ruling party of taking away the tribals' right to water, forests, and lands and handing it "over to industrialists".
