A few days back, Rakesh Bedi shared a story about a tough situation he was in. He got stuck in a big pile of rocks while he was in Himachal Pradesh. He hurt his finger while trying to move a huge rock that was blocking the road. This happened when he was coming back from Solan, a place in Himachal Pradesh. He took a shorter road, and things got really difficult.
Rakesh took to Instagram on Monday evening to share a video where he mentioned, "You've probably heard about the landslides causing a lot of trouble in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Enormous mountains are sliding down, causing roads and streets to get blocked. Many vehicles are stranded in the mountains. About two weeks ago, I visited Solan to give a lecture on acting. On our way back, we were informed that the main highway was blocked due to a landslide, so we were advised to take a shortcut instead.
He went on to share, "During that shortcut, a huge rock fell right in front of us. Luckily, it didn't hit our car; otherwise, it could have been disastrous. So, when I tried to be strong like He-Man and move the boulder, it shifted a bit but then rolled back onto my finger. My finger got seriously hurt, and it was hanging partly. The pain was intense. Thankfully, it's healed a lot now. If the injury had been a bit worse, I might have lost my finger. With the help of a JCB machine, we managed to clear the road later." He also conveyed his sympathy for those trapped in the mountains due to landslides, and he shared his prayers for their safety.
Beginning his journey with memorable characters in renowned movies like Sai Paranjape's Chashme Budoor and popular TV series such as Shrimaan Shrimati, Rakesh went on to contribute to numerous films, web series, and television productions.
