In their quest to find Sita, Ram and Lakshman encountered the headless demon Kabandha, cursed by a sage. Rama agreed to free him, and in return, Kabandha guided them to the River Pampa and advised seeking the help of Sugriva, the vanar king. Sugriva, banished by his brother Baali, offered assistance if they helped him regain his throne.

On their journey, they visited Shabari's ashram, where the old lady recognized the princes and offered them berries. Continuing south, they finally reached Sugriva's kingdom. Sugriva, once a powerful ruler ousted by Baali, shared his tragic story with Rama. Rama, empathizing with Sugriva's plight, decided to help him reclaim his kingdom in exchange for assistance in rescuing Sita.

Hanuman, Sugriva's loyal minister and a powerful warrior, pledged his devotion to Rama. The plan to defeat Baali was devised, and Sugriva felt optimistic with Rama by his side. However, in the combat, Rama couldn't distinguish between the brothers, leading to Sugriva's initial defeat. After Rama's intervention, a rematch was called, and Sugriva emerged victorious. Baali realized his mistake, sought forgiveness, and Sugriva was re-crowned as the king.

Sugriva, now the king of Kishkindha, sent his army to aid Rama in the battle against Ravana. In their search for Sita, Hanuman, Angad, Jambuwan, and others reached the southern coast. On a boulder near the ocean, they encountered Sampati, Jatayu's older brother. Hanuman narrated Jatayu's brave act and Ravan's kidnapping of Sita. Sampati, with his exceptional senses, confirmed Sita's location in Lanka, motivating the group.

Hanuman, using his magical abilities, grew in size and prayed to deities for strength. With a powerful leap, he set out on a mission to reach Lanka. The story leaves listeners eagerly anticipating the outcome of Hanuman's daring journey to rescue Sita.
