Some others like an IPS Officer of Karnataka and BJP chief K Annamalai from Tamil Nadu also had the same views and asked FSSAI to change the instructions.

On Thursday, FSSAI issued the revised guidelines and said, the business operators are free to use “curd” along with Any appropriate regional name.
