Stage Collapses during PM Modi's Roadshow in MP's Jabalpur, 4 Sustained Minor Injuries

The stage collapsed while Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, for a roadshow.

Tragic things happened on the route between Katanga and Gorakhpur. About the injured parties, among them a police officer. They were contacted by a hospital to receive medical attention. The stages were constructed in response to a request from the Bengali community in the area. As part of his roadshow, Prime Minister Modi stopped in Jabalpur later in the day. There was a sizable turnout in order to meet the prime minister.

The crowd was so large that following Prime Minister Modi's speech, a stage that was next to a showroom collapsed. Three additional persons, including police officers, were hurt in this event. The whole group has been sent to the Victoria Hospital in Jabalpur for medical attention, according to Dilip Srivastava, a police official in Jabalpur who spoke with ANI.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) began its Madhya Pradesh LokSabha election campaign on Sunday with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's road show in Jabalpur.

The Adi Shankaracharya crossing and the Shaheed Bhagat Singh crossing in Jabalpur's Gorakhpur neighborhood served as the starting and finishing points of a 1.2-kilometer roadshow.

Following the conclusion of the roadshow, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "I am grateful to PM Modi...). In the name of the Madhya Pradesh government and myself, let me use this opportunity to thank Prime Minister Modi.

Rakesh Singh, the Madhya Pradesh minister, approached the accident victims. I visited with the wounded and injured victims of the stage fall after instructions from Prime Minister Modi.
