Swara Bhaskar stunned everyone when the actress announced that she was getting married to Social activist/politician Fahad Ahmad. On Twitter, she announced the wedding she posted a video of her court wedding. The actress posted a video that included a collage of their sweet moments. Tanu The Weds Manu star revealed that they had an official wedding on the 6th of January 2023, in accordance with the Special Marriage Act. According to the publicist for the actress the couple is scheduled to hold the traditional ceremony of marriage this month. 2009-2012: Debut, and then further roles Before Bhasker began her acting career in films she was part of N. K. Sharma's "Act One" theater group in Delhi. The actress moved to Mumbai in 2008 and made her acting debut in the 2009 movie Madholal Keep Walking, which was shown in the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival but did not do well at the box office in India. Then, she played a secondary part for a supporting role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Guzaarish (2010) along with Hritik Roshan, and Aishwariya Rai. Bhasker was then seen in Srinivas' black and film noir The Untitled Kartik Krishnan Project it was described as the first Indian mumblecore film which was produced on a amount of Rs40,000 (US$500) and finished within a year. It it was the very initial Indian film to screen during the Transilvania International Film Festival. But the films Guzaarish along with The Untitled Kartik Krishnan Project failed at the box office and Bhasker was not noticed for her performance. Social Activism of Fahad

Fahad was a vocal advocate against the repeal of fee waivers granted to students belonging to backward classes. He was joined by over 1,000 students, and Prakash Ambedkar also supported them in this cause. Ahmad, along with around 100 others, handed out food packs to eight centres in Mumbai the slums. Each Saturday evening, they distributed food boxes to over 220 households. The group also distributed about 100 sanitisers to police officers. 

Controversies surrounding Fahad

Tata Institute of Social Sciences prevented students from receiving approval because Ahmad refused to take an MPhil award on the advice of Chairperson S. Ramadorai in the convocation ceremony.  Tata Institute of Social Sciences denied Ahmad admittance to its PhD program after he failed to earn an M.Phil. Degree. The Tata Institute issued an order which described Ahmad's conduct as negative toward the institution.
