Two Killed After E-Rickshaw Overturns In North Delhi's Burari

Two people died and two others were injured after the e-rickshaw they were travelling in overturned in the Burari area of North Delhi, said police.



According to the police, a tragic incident occurred in North Delhi's Burari, where an e-rickshaw carrying four people overturned, leading to the loss of two lives and causing injuries to two others.

 "Two people died in a road accident on Monday night in the Burari area of North Delhi. Four people were travelling in an e-rickshaw when it overturned at around 11 p.m," the police added. 


Further, while providing additional details regarding the overturning of the e-rickshaw,  the police revealed that an unidentified vehicle approached from the opposite direction and ran over the victims.

The driver and one other person died in the accident, while two people were injured.


The officials informed, "The driver and one other person died in the accident, while two people were injured." An inquiry into this matter is still being carried out by the authorities.



In a previous incident that took place near Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, police reported an accident caused by the collision of two cars. 



They informed that although there were no significant injuries reported for either driver, both of them appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. 



As per the police, in another separate incident, a tragic accident occurred near Delhi's Chandgiram Akhara, where a 22-year-old woman lost her life when her car got trapped between two speeding trucks. 



An official confirmed the unfortunate demise of the woman in this incident.
