Tamannaah Says I Had a Feeling Vijay's Sura Wouldn't Succeed Even During Filming !

During a recent interview with a Tamil YouTube channel, Tamannaah Bhatia candidly expressed her opinions about her former co-stars Vijay and Ajith. While reminiscing about her early days in Tamil cinema, she discussed her 2010 film "Sura," where she appeared alongside Vijay, admitting that it's one of the movies she doesn't hold dear. Notably, Bhatia's boldness and impressive performance in the Jailer song "Kaavaala" were also highlighted during the conversation.

When questioned about the films she isn't fond of, Tamannaah stated, "There's a very popular film, but I found some scenes in it to be not up to par. Although the songs were well-received, I'm referring to Sura. Personally, I felt my performance was not up to the mark (laughs). I wouldn't consider doing it again."

Tamannaah Bhatia also addressed the divergent opinions surrounding Ajith's salt-and-pepper appearance in Veeram.

Sura, a film directed by SP Rajkumar, faced harsh criticism from both critics and the audience due to its excessive heroism. Despite this, Tamannaah Bhatia held a unique perspective, revealing that she had sensed the movie's shortcomings even during the filming process. "I had a feeling even while shooting for the film that it might not work out," she candidly admitted. "Sometimes, as actors, we come across projects that we know may not find success, but it's not always about the outcome of the film."

Tamannaah elaborated on her approach to filmmaking, emphasizing that not every project's success can be predicted, nor is it the sole measure of its value. "There are a lot of factors that contribute to a film's reception, and sometimes, it's beyond our control," she added. "As actors, we put in our best efforts, but the final result is influenced by various factors, including audience preferences and market dynamics."

Despite the reception of Sura, Tamannaah acknowledged that the film's songs were highly popular, showcasing that certain elements resonated with the audience. "It's interesting to see how certain aspects of a movie can still strike a chord with viewers even if the overall response isn't favorable," she said.

In her journey as an actress, Tamannaah has encountered various ups and downs, understanding that not every film can be a blockbuster. "Experiencing both success and setbacks has taught me valuable lessons and has helped me grow as an artist," she shared. "Each project contributes to my growth and learning, regardless of its commercial success."
