Telangana Authorities Seize 400kg Ganja Valued at Rs 1 Crore, Detain 8 Individuals

Authorities assert that the intercepted ganja, with an estimated street value exceeding Rs 1 crore, was destined for distribution in Hyderabad. Preliminary investigations suggest that the accused procured the illicit substance from sources in Odisha before embarking on the journey to the capital city of Telangana.

Bhadradri Kothagudem District Superintendent of Police, B Rohith Raju, confirmed the commencement of legal proceedings against the apprehended individuals under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
