Remarkably, 'Leo' managed to surpass Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Killers of the Flower Moon' in global box office earnings within just five days of its release. Variety reported that the film outperformed Martin Scorsese's creation within four days of hitting theaters.

In a surprising turn of events, director Lokesh Kanagaraj sustained a minor leg injury amidst an overwhelming crowd of fans during a promotional event for 'Leo.' The incident occurred at Aroma Theatre in Palakkad. Despite extensive security measures, fans flocked to see the director, prompting the need for minor crowd control measures.

Kanagaraj expressed his gratitude to the fans in Kerala and apologized for not being able to make it to the other planned venues due to his injury. He reassured his supporters that he would return to Kerala soon.

The resounding success of 'Leo' continues to demonstrate Thalapathy Vijay's star power and the film's irresistible appeal to audiences despite the temporary dip in earnings on Dussehra.
