Zomato has made the decision to pull the "color segregation" that sets apart its 'Pure Veg' option from its regular red hue because of the overwhelming positive and negative responses it has received about its intentions to introduce a delivery service fleet under the 'Pure Veg' brand.

We have made the decision to discontinue this fleet's green-based ground segregation. This remains true even in the event that we have a fleet reserved for vegetarians. Every single one of our riders—vegetarians or regular cyclists alike—will be dressed in red. This implies that the fleet allocated to such commands will be undetectable from the ground. It is According to Goyal. The app will inform you of the fleet that is set aside only for vegetarian orders.

The customers' and delivery workers' Health: A Primary Concern

The decision to remove the color differentiation was likely influenced by user comments. This expressed some concerns. It could identify and target those who don't eat enough veggies in housing societies. It affects others who choose to keep their dietary habits secret.

"This would ensure that our red uniform delivery partners are not wrongly connected with non-vegetarian food. They are not barred by any RWAs or societies during any special days," Goyal reiterated his statement. Our top goal is the health and safety of our riders. The worst thing that might happen is that some of our clients. It might even go afoul of their landlords as a result of what we've discovered.

Goyal also praised the crowd at the ceremony for their comments on the company's new fleet

I am grateful for everyone's involvement in the conversation from last night. We much appreciate your perspective regarding the possible unanticipated consequences of this rollout. We greatly appreciated all of the positive feedback and helpful criticism. It enabled us to reach this level of excellence. We listen all the time, not letting pride or egos get in the way. "We are excited about the prospect of staying in touch with you," he said.
