The discord originated when a group engaged in celebratory festivities with a DJ inadvertently threw colors on a mosque while dancing. This seemingly innocuous act snowballed into a serious dispute, with both communities accusing each other of provocation and escalating tensions.

To address the escalating situation, SHO Dinesh Chandra Chaudhary of Rudhauli reported that the arrested individuals now face charges under IPC Section 149 (rioting), 452 (criminal trespass), and other relevant sections.
