Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to engage in the 'Sashakt Nari-Viksit Bharat' program today in Delhi, marking a significant initiative towards women's empowerment. This program holds paramount importance in PM Modi's vision of fostering economic growth and independence among women, particularly in rural regions.

One of the key highlights of the event will be the demonstration of agricultural drones by the 'Namo Drone Didis' at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute. These skilled women, representing 11 different locations nationwide, will showcase their proficiency in operating drones for agricultural purposes. PM Modi's keen interest in leveraging technology for agricultural development is evident through his support for such initiatives.

Furthermore, the 'Namo Drone Didi' initiative, along with the 'Lakhpati Didi' program, underscores the government's commitment to empowering women across various sectors. By promoting skill development and entrepreneurship among women, these initiatives aim to create a more inclusive and self-reliant economy.

As part of the program, PM Modi will distribute drones to 1,000 'Namo Drone Didis', providing them with the necessary tools to enhance agricultural productivity and efficiency. This distribution aligns with the broader objective of integrating technology into agriculture to improve crop yields and farmers' livelihoods.

Additionally, the event will recognize the achievements of 'Lakhpati Didis' who have succeeded with the support of the 'Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission'. These women, through their hard work and determination, serve as inspirations to others within their communities, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

In tandem with the empowerment initiatives, PM Modi will oversee the disbursement of bank loans totaling Rs 8,000 crore to self-help groups (SHGs) at subsidized interest rates. This financial support aims to strengthen the economic backbone of rural communities by providing access to capital for entrepreneurial ventures and small businesses.

Furthermore, PM Modi's itinerary includes the inauguration of the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram, Haryana, and the foundation laying of 112 National Highway projects across the country. These infrastructure projects, with an estimated investment of Rs 1 lakh crore, signify the government's commitment to enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth on a national scale.

Overall, PM Modi's participation in the 'Sashakt Nari-Viksit Bharat program underscores the government's dedication to advancing gender equality, economic empowerment, and technological innovation for inclusive growth.
