Tragic Blast at Political Gathering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Leaves 40 Dead and Over 100 Injured

Tragic Blast in  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa


At least 40 lost their lives while 100 got injured in a bomb blast at a political gathering in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.


After the explosion, immediate efforts were made to transport the injured to a nearby hospital, while critically wounded victims were airlifted to receive better medical treatment in Peshawar, the provincial capital.

In response to the emergency, law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area, and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene. Five ambulances were dispatched to offer urgent aid to those affected by the tragedy.


Among the casualties was Maulana Ziaullah, the local chief of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s party, while other leaders like Abdur Rasheed and former lawmaker Maulana Jamaluddin were fortunately unharmed. It was clarified that Maulana Fazlur Rehman himself was not present at the rally.

As the nation mourns the loss of lives and prays for the recovery of the injured, authorities are actively investigating the incident to determine the cause of the explosion.
