In a heartbreaking discovery, five members of a family were found dead in their home in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The victims, Moin, his wife Asma, and their three young daughters—Afsa (8), Aziza (4), and Adiba (1)—were found in a disturbing state, with the children’s bodies hidden inside a bed box.

The police were alerted when the family had been unresponsive, and neighbors raised concerns about their sudden disappearance. Upon forcing entry into the locked house, authorities discovered the lifeless bodies. Senior Superintendent of Police Vipin Tada revealed that the house had been locked from the outside, suggesting that the perpetrator might have been familiar with the family.

Further investigations indicated that one of the victims' legs was tied with a bedsheet, which has led authorities to suspect foul play. The possibility of old enmity as a motive is being considered. Moin, a mechanic by profession, and his wife Asma were reportedly missing since Wednesday, and it was Moin’s brother, Salim, who discovered the grim scene when he visited the house.

Authorities are now digging deeper into the family’s background, as the family had recently moved to the area. A forensic team and senior officers are collecting evidence from the crime scene, while a detailed investigation is underway.
